Food is one of the great pleasures in life, and I truly believe that restrictive eating, eliminating the foods you love, and jumping from one diet to the next, will only lead you down a path of despair and anxiety. Despite your best intentions, this approach does not result in the balanced lifestyle and healthy mind and body that you desire. In fact, being stuck in a dieting mindset does us more harm than good.

Holistic health is about so much more than the food that we eat. Our psychological, social and emotional health all play incredibly important roles in shaping our level of happiness and satisfaction with life.
